• Audit of internal procedures applied, pursuant to labor and social security legislation, from hiring of the employee through to severance. Among other topics, this includes payroll calculation, check of hours worked and days worked, vacation pay, calculation and payments of FGTS (Government Employee Severance Indemnity Fund), INSS (Social Security Contributions), Industrial Accident Insurance, IRRF (Withholding Tax), and review work contract rescissions. It also covers identification and rectification of procedures that could result in hidden liabilities, with guidelines for secure methods and good results, thereby minimizing the risk of potential tax and social security assessments, and of labor claims.
• Examination, preparation, and reformulation of work contracts.
• Check of compliance with labor and social security requirements relating to outsourced service companies.
• Examination of labor cases, to reduce the costs of monitoring Labor Court cases and of the respective sentences, where we classify them by nature of claim, position of plaintiff, amount involved, area, and probability of success of ongoing cases.
• Preparation of opinion reports on complex labor matters, in order to settle labor and social security related queries, in labor and employment relations.
• Consulting services on the preparation and review of the PPP (Social Security Professional Profile), to be utilized as a source of information for the Labor and Social Security Courts.
• Monitoring of trade union relations, in respect of round tables, where collective claims are discussed extra-judicially.
• Legal litigation services including representation before the Labor Courts regardless of whether the company is plaintiff or defendant, and preparation of periodic reports on the progress of labor cases.
